Valley Health Center North County opens!
Santa Clara Valley Healthcare, California’s second-largest public health and hospital system, has opened its first full-service health care clinic in North County located at 4151 Middlefield Road in Palo Alto, bordering Mountain View. Valley Health Center (VHC) North County will provide quality and convenient primary care services for Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills and beyond.
“It’s essential that every person, every family in this County have access to primary and preventative health care,” said County of Santa Clara Supervisor Joe Simitian, who represents North County residents. “Having conveniently located health care services takes some of the stress and worry out of visiting a doctor. It allows people to focus on their health, family, work and school.”
Simitian, Chair of the County of Santa Clara’s Health and Hospital Committee, championed and advocated for the VHC North County location and is pursuing a West Valley clinic opportunity on the De Anza College campus in Cupertino (stay tuned!). The 24,500-square-foot North County facility will provide family medicine, urgent care, behavioral health, laboratory, pharmacy and diagnostic imaging services. It will also be one of the first County facilities to contain an adult-sized changing table, which can be an immense convenience for caregivers.
