Simitian to Hold "Sidewalk Office Hours" in October

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

SAN JOSE – Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian announced today that he will hold “sidewalk office hours” in Palo Alto, Saratoga and Mountain View beginning October 3rd through October 17th.  Simitian invites community members to stop by with their questions and concerns about local issues.

“I look forward to talking to people one-on-one,” said Simitian. “Sidewalk office hours give both the public and me a chance to interact in an informal, friendly atmosphere. It’s tremendously helpful to hear first-hand what folks have on their minds.”

Simitian holds his sidewalk office hours at local farmers’ markets. All questions are welcome, and no appointment is required.

“The farmers’ markets are a wonderful venue for sidewalk office hours,” Simitian said.  “The setting is relaxed, it’s easy to find, and a lot of folks stop by to talk on the spur of the moment.”

Saturday, October 3rd
11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
