Partnership and Plan for Buena Vista to be announced Wednesday

PRESS RELEASE

PALO ALTO – On Wednesday night, County Supervisor Joe Simitian will join with Buena Vista Residents’ Association President Erika Escalante to announce a partnership and a plan to prevent the closure of the Buena Vista Mobile Home Park in Palo Alto.

“With the potential closure of Buena Vista just weeks away, it’s crucial that we find both partners and resources in a hurry. Otherwise, we’ve got 400 people out on the street,” Simitian said. “We hope to use this opportunity to present a credible plan to avoid closure, and to build support for that effort.”

After statements from Simitian, Escalante, and John Woolley, Chief Operating Officer of Caritas Corporation, press are invited to ask questions.
