There are over 64,000 veterans living in Santa Clara County. They have earned, and are entitled to, benefits that are available through an often complex application process. Supervisor Simitian led the way to expand capacity within the County's Veterans Services Office (VSO) in order to help more veterans access these benefits and other County services. In addition, he also championed dental care for the most vulnerable of veterans by supporting mobile dental services.
