The NOVAworks Whole Person Pilot Program will identify potential program participants from historically excluded communities for the program. The program’s goals are to increase household wealth, career mobility, and access to employment opportunities. NOVAworks will provide training for resumé development, interviewing, and professional work development. Potential regional employment partners include local universities and colleges; union apprenticeships; life sciences and semiconductor industries; chambers of commerce; and Santa Clara County. Supervisor Simitian championed the County grant that partially funded this program.
